The Business Analyst will be responsible reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. The Business Analyst will also have to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and systems.


Role responsibilities and key focus areas:

  • To facilitate requirements meetings to establish detailed requirements with both the technical and business resources for assigned projects or initiatives.
  • To ensure the scope of work and documentation fully covers the customer’s requirements for the customer to sign it off.
  • To create functional and technical requirement documentation as required.
  • To document as-is and to-be processes for assigned customers.
  • To create test cases and manage the testing process as required.
  • To test delivered systems to ensure that the system meets the customers’ requirements.
  • To ensure that reporting and analytics are delivered as required.

Qualifications:

  • Matric is essential.
  • Relevant IT or Engineering degree or Diploma is essential.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in:

  • Business and Systems Analysis experience
  • Business Process Reengineering
  • Business Improvement experience
  • System Analysis and Development
  • Quality assurance
  • Fundamentals of Business Analysis essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Strong understanding of development technologies and databases
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Group facilitation skills across all levels
  • Prioritization and Time Management
