Jurumani Solutions is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our EAS team in Midrand, working on complex telecommunications projects within a high level technology environment.
This is not a role where you simply maintain a project plan.
You will be at the centre of high value, technically complex projects, working with engineers, technicians, contractors, suppliers, PMO teams and senior stakeholders to make things happen.
You will take ownership of the end to end delivery of multiple telecommunications projects, including MW and Fibre initiatives.
Your role will include:
• Leading multidisciplinary technical teams and keeping everyone moving in the same direction
• Managing high capacity, complex projects with significant ACV value
• Driving project delivery from planning through to implementation
• Managing budgets, schedules, risks, issues and dependencies
• Identifying roadblocks before they become problems, and taking action to resolve them
• Managing suppliers and contractors to ensure SLA commitments are met
• Keeping stakeholders informed through clear, meaningful project reporting
• Managing scope creep and ensuring deliverables remain aligned to business objectives
• Coordinating Layer 2 and Layer 3 engineering activities and link activations
• Delivering high value CSS projects
• Engaging directly with stakeholders and attending onsite meetings when required

What matters is that you are curious, adaptable and hungry to keep learning.
✓ Has 5+ years of Project Management experience within Telecommunications or IT
✓ Has experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
✓ Understands MW and Fibre technology and general telecommunications principles
✓ Can confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously
✓ Is strong in planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management
✓ Is analytical, organised and exceptionally detail orientated
✓ Communicates confidently with technical teams, suppliers, customers and senior stakeholders
✓ Can work independently without needing to be constantly managed
✓ Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
✓ Enjoys solving problems and navigating complexity
✓ Has a genuine passion for technology and continuous learning
A degree or diploma in IT, Engineering or Project Management is required.
