Senior Data Specialist – Revenue Assurance & OSS/BSS Alignment (Contract)

Billing exists… but doesn’t match the network.

🏗️ About the Environment

You’ll be stepping into a high-volume fibre / telecom environment where:

• Network and billing systems must align perfectly
• Data integrity directly impacts revenue
• Complexity is the norm, not the exception

🎯 Your Mission:

💰 Revenue Assurance

• Hunt down revenue leakage
• Expose billing inaccuracies
• Perform root cause analysis and drive fixes to completion
• Implement controls that actually stick

🔗 OSS/BSS Data Alignment (CRITICAL)

• Reconcile network (OSS) vs billing (BSS) data
• Fix lifecycle misalignment:
  activations, installations, migrations, terminations, assets
• Manage complex relationships between:
  services, devices, network identifiers, customers, billing

⚙️ Data Analysis & Engineering

• Build and optimise Databricks pipelines
• Use Python & SQL to surface anomalies across large datasets
• Automate reconciliation and validation processes

🚀 Delivery Focus

• No theory. No fluff.
• You own delivery end-to-end
• You work across tech, ops, and finance to implement fixes
• You produce actionable outcomes, not reports

🔥 What makes you the right fit:

• Proven Revenue Assurance experience (non-negotiable)
• Strong OSS/BSS data model understanding (CRUCIAL)
• Advanced Databricks, Python, SQL
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Ability to move quickly from insight → execution

Bonus if you understand:
ONTs, OLTs, VLANs, GPON, service IDs
